Description:
With scientific input from: Rachel Nadif, Rosalie Delvert, Bakari Ibrahim, Marine Savouré, and Guillaume Sit, the “Integrative Respiratory Epidemiology” team at CESP, INSERM U1018
The year is 2032. Viral epidemics are recurring, and the prevalence of respiratory diseases is reaching unprecedented levels. In response to this crisis, the government is implementing a two-year, enhanced public health action plan in a test city. The operation has a fitting name: Respire.
The goal of this project: to keep the city’s population healthy and reduce the number of sick residents as much as possible.
As the seasons pass, new people move to the city in hopes of a healthier lifestyle. Faced with this influx of newcomers, the various public institutions must work together to ensure the operation’s success…
Respire is a cooperative game in which you play as public entities tasked with keeping the population healthy. To do this, you must make collective decisions to establish the best possible public health management system. You win the game if, at the end of the 8 seasons of the Respire project, only two residents or fewer remain hospitalized.
This game can be played by up to 8 players with a single box, but can accommodate more than 8 players with an additional copy.
Note: This game is not owned by Azao Games. The publisher (INSERM, the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research) offers the game via print-on-demand on the azaogames.com website and remains the responsible publisher.
